NMONL is an affiliate chapter of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL). For more than 50 years, AONL has lead in the field of nursing leadership through focusing on professional development, advocacy, and research that advances nursing leadership and patient care. Video from our parent organization AONL | As the field of nursing leadership evolves, so does AONE. As the national professional organization for all nurse leaders, AONE represents our diverse community, working across the care continuum. To more fully represent the leaders they serve and to pursue their mission of shaping health care through innovative and expert nursing leadership, AONE recently announced a new brand and a new name: The American Organization for Nursing Leadership. Learn more about what this change means at AONE.org/AONL |
As the national professional organization of more than 9,800 nurse leaders, the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) is the leading voice of nursing leadership in health care. Our membership encompasses nurse leaders working in hospitals, health systems, academia and other care settings across the care continuum. Since 1967, the organization has led the field of nursing leadership through professional development, advocacy and research that advances nursing leadership practice and patient care. AONL is a subsidiary of the American Hospital Association. For more information, visit AONE.org/AONL. |
NMONL meets quarterly at a luncheon meeting at a sponsoring healthcare agency. Meeting dates and locations are published at the start of the calendar year in the newsletter and notices are sent to all members prior to each meeting. Members are encouraged to invite colleagues to these meetings. A copy of the bylaws of the organization is available from NMONL officers, at meetings, or by requesting that one be mailed.
It is our intent to reach out to nursing leaders and regional healthcare agencies through the Regional Directors and information via email, conference calls, and on-site meetings.
